What kind of groups?
⇒ This software will help you to create groups of people or things.
⇒ Groups that are created can be balanced based on five criteria. It is also possible to generate random groups.
⇒ Unique feature of Divider is that it gives you the ability to create connections between people (or things) and connections between people and groups, even before groups are made.
Types of connections you can make before creating groups:
Place these people...
...in the same group.
Keep these people...
...in different groups.
Assign these people...
...in those groups.
Forbid those groups...
...to these people.
For instance, if you wish that John and James end up in the same (or different) group, that can be arranged. If you want to assign John to the second group and avoid placing James in the third or fifth group, that can also be arranged.
Why would I need to create groups?
Group making examples:
✔ Structure school class groups
✔ Make diversified teams
✔ Allocate clients in equal groups
✔ Assign employee responsibilities
✔ Divide objects based on their value and your own rules... and many more.
How can Divider help me create groups?
It will automatically create balanced groups for you in just 2 or 3 easy steps: 1. Select number of groups that you wish to create and group size limits. 2. Import or enter some data to describe group members. You can assign up to five values to ensure that groups are balanced well. 3. Create connections between group members (optional step). You can: - Allow a group and/or forbid some group or groups to any prospective group member. - Set up "to be in the same group" and/or "not to be in the same group" conditions for potential members.
After that, just push the button and let your computer create groups for you!
